Art can exist in many forms, all of which have a special meaning, particularly for Sophia, an artist from Denver, Colorado. From the first painting she ever created, to her mom’s “self-portrait”, which is tattooed on Sophia’s arm, to her thimble necklace which belonged to her Nonna, Sophia uses both her art and her hobbies as reminders of the important things in life, like her connection to her family. Both her mother and her Nonna inspired her to pursue her passions and a career as an artist.
